“Spreading joy through Bhangra”
NYC Bhangra is an organization established in 2007 to promote Indian dance. Today, NYC Bhangra is one of the best-known dance organizations in New York, with a diverse member list drawing from all ages, ethnicities and professions.
We seek to inform communities about Indian culture through a twofold approach of performance and education. NYC Bhangra has presented Bhangra and Giddha folk dances at public and private events in and around New York, including performances for schools, government, corporations and festivals.
We also offer several weekly classes in Manhattan for students of all levels. Whether you’re looking to learn a new style of dance, get some exercise, or meet new people, we assure you of a great time!
We love for you to share this info with your friends who might either, be interested in learning Bhangra or volunteering to spread happiness & joy in the community. Simply follow the links on top of this page to share this website on Facebook or Meetup.
